MiniCD Studio
Effective 5 October 2026 · Applies to MiniCD Studio for Windows
MiniCD Studio does not collect personal data. There is no account or sign-up, no telemetry, usage analytics or ads, and nothing you create is sent to Atenza.
This page exists because the store requires one, and because a claim like that deserves the details. Below is what the program keeps, where it keeps it, and the three situations in which it goes online.
There is no sign-up, login or user identifier. MiniCD Studio has no telemetry, usage analytics, automatic crash reporting or advertising. No third-party library for those purposes is built into the program.
Atenza does not receive, and has no way of receiving, your images, your projects or any usage statistics.
.minicd projects stay wherever you save them. Everything else is kept in your user's data folder: %APPDATA%\Atenza\MiniCD Studio
None of it is sent anywhere.
MiniCD Studio works offline. There are only three situations in which it uses the internet:
Cover and track search, only when you search. The search text and the country go to Apple's public iTunes search, and the cover you choose is downloaded from Apple's servers.
Spotify Code, only when you paste a link. The song or album identifier goes once to Spotify's code generator, and the drawing is stored in the project.
Microsoft Store version. In the copy installed from the store, on startup, Windows checks with the Microsoft Store whether the full version was purchased and what it costs.
In these cases the Apple, Spotify and Microsoft privacy policies also apply. Apart from them, the program makes no connection at all: it sends no statistics and does not check the license key online.
In the Microsoft Store. Purchase, payment and refunds are handled by Microsoft, in Microsoft's own window, under Microsoft's privacy policy. Atenza does not receive your payment details.
Outside the store. Buyers through another channel receive a license key that is checked on the computer itself, offline. It holds a serial number, the issue date and the sales channel — no personal data. For support, Atenza keeps the serial number, date, channel and order number; the purchase details stay with the sales channel, under its own rules.
MiniCD Studio is not directed at children and, since it collects no personal data, collects no data from children.
Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018) and similar laws give you the right to access, correct and delete your personal data held by whoever processes it. What the program keeps is on your computer, under your control. On Atenza's side there is, at most, the key record of buyers outside the store (section 4).
To see it, ask for it to be deleted or for any question, write to contato@atenza.com.br.
If MiniCD Studio starts doing something this page does not describe, this page changes first — with the date at the top updated. No change will be retroactive.
